
ABOUT DAMIEN
A Born Stage Actor
Damien S. Berger has been acting for over 28 years starting in Richmond Virginia. His stage credits include Jitney, (Booster), The Meeting (Malcolm), A Raisin in the Sun (Asagai), A Soldiers Play (Henson), Piano Lesson (Boy Willie), Clybourne Park, and Ain’t Misbehavin’ to name a few. On film he has been in Vortex, The Place, Ballistic, Major Problems, and Sweet and Beautiful Death.

Damien is also a director of 21 years, directing The Colored Museum, Livin' Fat, Trojan Woman, and The Pajama Game. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Theatre Studies from Montclair State University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre from Virginia Union University. Damien was a high school theatre teacher at Magna Vista high school in Henry County VA.

He previously served on the board for Progressive Theatre in Maplewood NJ, currently a board member with Tribal Innovations in Somerset NJ, and serves as Associate Artistic Director for Dunbar Repertory Theatre. He is also a member of New Jersey Creative Arts Collaborative (NJCAC). Damien is the founder of True & Honest Theatre in Hammonton NJ.
